Hmmm…challenge him, maybe? He’s cocky enough to underestimate Laz, we already know those claws go through his armor, and he probably won’t want to refuse in front of his men. Plus, I’m pretty sure that’s standard procedure in these scenarios.

Don’t think this is an application of that particular trope. It’s more like ” Well, on a normal day, I could kick all of your asses outright but I’ve been running through a pyramid fighting, sprinting and climbing, so I’m just going to go along with this for now.
