I don’t really like everything between the first and last panel, though… I guess I’ll just have to try harder on the next page to make up for it.

Just to be clear he did’ent hit Eshita (the cat girl) with that fireball did he? its kinda hard to tell, it really looks like he slammed it right into her face
It is kinda unclear, huh? No he didn’t hit Eshi in the face
So if not the face, did he hit her in the back? Or just barely miss as she jumps out of the way?
Shame, then. He owes her two!
Never get him pissed off on you. He likes to kill it with fire!

On a diffferent note. I did detect the page being a bit off. It’s still a good comic so I wont criticize this page…at all… or ever…

Is he supposed to be speaking in the third panel? If so, when is it that Eshita starts speaking, as she appears to be in the following panels…
It’s Eshi talking in the third through sixth panels
So to throw a fireball he has to reach behind his head? That seems a bit inconvenient.
The idea is that he’s lifting the weed from panels 2-3 over his head to carry it over to the hole and throw it.
I think I failed at visual storytelling pretty hard on this page >< Oh well, every time I mess up I learn more about what not to do.

I repeat. Laz needs to learn to use his powers. If he has any. Which he should, considering that he can hold fire and not be hurt and his claws are armor-piercing.
Maybe its just me with my very active imagination able to fill in any blanks, but I think you did just fine with the strip. I especially liked the second to last panel where Laz has the brush-fire-ball over his head – awesome! Would make a pretty decent wallpaper:) [maybe with the caption "Little kid with a torch, huh?"] Thanks for the laughs and enjoyment!
It did take a second look to understand what was going on, but I think that’s a good thing. The monkeys may know about the lighter, but that doesn’t mean Eshita does.
I like what you did with the background for the panels. Looks good.
I wish there was more contrast with the comment box. It is a little hard to write in.
