I know my updating has been really, really terrible. It’s been holiday season, I’ve been busy with a couple other big personal projects, and finals and transfer applications and financial aid wrapped up have been absolutely killer for me. That having been said, I also have a tiny tiny buffer and I’m looking at Christmas and New Year’s and I don’t want that to go away. Oh did I mention I’m having a wisdom tooth pulled tomorrow?

So. I’m going to just go ahead and take the end of the holiday off. Updates will resume on the 6th of January. My course load next semester is still a bit heavy, but it’s not as bad as what I’ve been doing and hopefully I’ll be able to get serious about this. I still love working on Underling and I’m still learning a lot from it, but I really just haven’t had the time or the spirit to go ahead with it lately. Sorry, and enjoy the rest of 2011!

Sorry guys, it’s midterms. I’ve been doing homework all week and I still have a giant pile to get through before next week. I’ll try to get a comic up this weekend some time but I’m not sure that’ll happen. It’s super annoying because the storyline is starting to move faster now and I want to get pages up faster, but I guess sometimes life is a jerk =\ Alas. Enjoy your Halloween weekends! More than I’m going to, at least!

30 Character Month and Other Things

I am a terrible person and I really don’t do enough extraneous random doodles, so I’ll be participating in the 30 Character Challenge. I’ll try to post a few here but if you want to catch more random art from me that’s a place to go!

Also, you might have noticed that ad if you don’t have adblock. I’ll be personally participating in the Indie Games for Good Marathon early next November. It’s independent advertisement for wonderfully innovative indie games and also all the money goes straight to Child’s Play. So ya know, it would be a cool thing to donate to or watch!

A New Collective

So me and a handful of other comic creators have been hanging out for a while and have decided to start a fun new collective. You should stop by and check out everyone’s stuff – if you like my comic, there’s probably a few over there that you’ll like too! Also, we’re having a bit of a party in tinychat tomorrow to celebrate, and everyone’s invited!

Terribly sorry again everyone, but I will definitely be missing this week’s update, and I may be missing next week’s. I want to keep the quality of my pages up, and right now I just can’t devote the hours I need to get the next page up. I will try to get some filler up, but it’s going to be a rough couple weeks. However, summer is nearly here and I’ll be having some(involuntary) downtime in which to get lots of comic-ing done. No guarantees, but I’m hoping to be able to go back to twice a week updates by the time classes start back up in September.

There won’t be a comic this week as I am busy getting a week worth of schoolwork done in advance and also packing and doing all the other work to get myself to c2e2(and more importantly some time with my bf). Don’t fear for the comic’s health, but do fear for mine because I can’t take it when it gets below 65 degrees in the early morning in winter and I’m about to go to fracking Lake Michigan.
