THE GOOD GUYS PROTAGONISTS:

Lazarus

Lazarus
Lazarus may be bright, but he’s also an unabashed underachiever and troublemaker. He is resourceful, cynical, and hell-bent to fix every problem in his life in the most extravagant and least responsible way possible. He was transformed into a demon the moment he left earth, and seems to be fighting a losing battle to keep his unpleasant destiny as The Great Destroyer suppressed.

Lilith

Lilitu
Lilith is the captain of the Lilitu, the mother of demons, and a higher-up among the ranks of the damned. Her obedience to the Devil is tenuous at best. She resents the very idea of a good and evil dichotomy, and clings to the ancient systems of belief that have all been stomped out by her new boss (AKA Satan). Although she is long past her prime as the queen of demons she is wise, cunning, and a force to be reckoned with.

*************************************

Eshita

Eshita
Eshita is a capricious Rakshasa who balks at her tribe’s rigid culture. She is currently on the run from an arranged marriage and questing for a magical sword. Although she can be a bit of a cutthroat, she is idealistic and believes herself to be fighting for the future of her people.

NEUTRAL PARTIES

The Lilitu

Cuties!
The Lilitu are rank-and-file nature demons that serve under Lilith in the forces of Hell. They represent the negative aspects of nature that terrified ancient peoples. They are countless thousands of years old, but have not been worshiped for some time, and are very much past their prime. They are generally unreliable, but you can at least count on them always being impulsive and violent.

THE BAD GUYS WORSE GUYS:

Mister Crowley II

Mr. Crowley
Not much is known about this enigmatic human cultist. He was responsible for making sure Laz opened a portal to Hell, but failed and was sucked through the portal along with him. He has taken on the name of a famous earthly cultist and fancies himself the master of mysticism. As far as humans go, he’s a particularly dangerous and ambitious one.

*************************************

Beelzebub

Pug Fugly!
Beelzebub is the loudmouthed mouthpiece of the Devil, and the lord of the flies. He’s a powerful and dangerous sycophant that clearly enjoys his role. Not much is currently known about his history or personal goals.
*************************************

Mephistopheles

Let's make a deal.
Mephistopheles is the head clerk of the damned. He handles the contracts and deals that the Devil is so renowned for making. He is a relatively recent addition to the forces of hell, but is filling out his role quite well. He is perceptive, quick-witted, and has a strong command over every language spoken by man.
*************************************

Adramelech

Sun God!
Adramelech is an ancient sun god whose proper name and origins have been long lost to antiquity. He is fast and dangerous, but his age and lack of worshipers is beginning to show. Like many others, he resents his assimilation into the forces of hell, and misses the old ways. He does, however, follow the Devil’s orders to the letter with pride and competence.
*************************************

Rohit

Rohit
Rohit is Eshita’s aspiring spouse-to-be – or so he thinks. He seems to be an influential member of the warrior caste within his tribe, and also seems to command at least a small army. The terms of his shaky relationship with Eshita are unknown, but he certainly isn’t about to win any personality contests.

AND LAST, BUT NOT LEAST

The Devil

The Devil Himself
The lightbringer. The father of lies. Captain angrypants. Although he was originally a nobody cast down into the abyss for being an arrogant jerk, the big D found his place in the spotlight just a couple thousand years ago. Since then, he’s been rampaging throughout the otherworlds, destroying everything he can’t bring to serve him. Not someone you want to be on the bad side of. Unfortunately, his good side is also his bad side, and you’re already on it.
